Coming this February...

Can you read their shirts?

If you look really closely, Caleb's says "Big Big Brother" and Kathryns says "Big Sister"!

Yes, we are expecting Taylor baby #3 in the middle of February! We are all so excited! Caleb and Kathryn are especially excited about having a new baby brother or sister!

Canadian Wedding

Congratulations Greg and Amanda Taylor!!!

Last week, Russ and I took a trip to Canada to be a part of Greg and Amanda's wedding. Greg and Amanda have been together for a while now, so we are so excited to finally be welcoming her to the Taylor family.

We flew to Montreal, Canada early last Wednesday morning along with Russ' parents. We then rented a car and drove 5 more hours to a beautiful resort called The Fairmont at La Malbaie. The resort was breathtaking and we enjoyed a wonderful vacation for 4 days, without the kids! (they were at Mimi and Grampy's house). We sat out by the pool for hours reading a good book, Russ played golf, I had a morning at the spa, we ate great food and we enjoyed spending time with the the family. Greg and Amanda had around 40 guests, so it was a nice size wedding. The wedding was on Saturday evening at 6:00 at a little courtyard outside by the river. It was a beautiful evening and the wedding was perfect! Amanda of course was a gorgeous bride and everything went so smoothly. We had cocktails outside after the wedding and then a dinner reception inside with good toasts and lots of laughs. I really don't think that anything went wrong, other than the fact that the airlines lost both my mother-in-law Dinah and my sister-in-law Anna's suitcase. They did end up getting them though by Saturday thank goodness! If that's all that went wrong, then I would say Amanda and Greg were pretty lucky!

The beautiful bride!

On Sunday morning we rode back to Montreal to spend a couple of days there along with Russ' parents and the Curtis' ( family friends). It is a beautiful city and is completely French, so I really felt like I was in France. Russ and I slept late, walked around and shopped in Old Town Montreal and ate in some nice restaurants. Our last night there we ate at a little restaurant on a rooftop terrace overlooking the water. It was beautiful and we really enjoyed getting to spend some good alone time with each other! The vacation was exactly the break that we needed! We flew back to Charlotte on Tuesday night and got Caleb and Kathryn on Wednesday. Boy were we glad to see them!
