Family Time for the 4 of us!

Our family enjoyed some fun family time together yesterday as we await Clayton's arrival. Caleb has recently really gotten into playing our wii. He has discovered that he is very good at bowling and he has now graduated to a Pro in the game. He is actually really good and consistently beats Russ and I in the game. Because of his new love for the game, we decided to take he and Kathryn bowling yesterday. We have a fun place up the street called Sports Connection. The kids and I go there often so that they can jump in their inflatable room, but rarely do we ever go in the bowling alley or the arcade there. Soon after we got there, we realized we were going to have to wait an hour to get a lane for the real bowling. We were not going to wait with a 2 and 4 year old! We decided to check out the arcade and at the back we found a duck pin bowling alley. It was perfect for Caleb and Kathryn to bowl. It is just a miniature bowling alley for kids. The lanes were about half the size of a real lane and the balls were about half the size. Caleb and Kathryn were thrilled! They had a great time bowling and Russ and I enjoyed it too!

Kathryn is thrilled that she knocked over some pins!

Caleb really concentrates when he bowls and watches the ball until he sees how many pins he knocked down.

We went out to lunch this afternoon after church to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was gorgeous outside and felt more like May than February! Here we are as a family of 4. Hopefully the next picture of us will be a family of 5 with our new addition!

Update on Baby #3

Taylor Baby Number 3:
Clayton James Taylor

Isn't his chunky face just precious!

It is hard to believe that I am about 1 week away from my due date with our 3rd baby! This pregnancy has flown by and we are all so excited to meet baby Clayton. We are pretty much ready for his arrival, so it could be any day now! Caleb and Kathryn can't wait for him to be born. Kathryn loves to talk to my belly everyday and tell baby Clayton all about her day. She also loves to sing to him and it is so sweet. She asks me everyday "Baby coming today?" Caleb likes to sing "Superman" to the baby and he loves to feel him kick. I know both she and Caleb are going to be a big help and love their little brother!

I had an ultrasound today at the doctor to see how Clayton is doing. I got to see his sweet face in 4D, which was amazing! Everything looked great and he supposedly weighs around 7 pounds, 6 oz. We can't wait to meet this little guy soon! Please pray for a safe and healthy delivery!

Last week, some sweet friends gave me a baby shower for Clayton. I felt very blessed to have a baby shower for my 3rd baby! They had it at a nice private room at the City Tavern restaurant. We all ate dinner and then some delicious blue and brown cupcakes with the cutest little toppers you've ever seen (I'm so sorry I didn't get a picture of them!). I got some really sweet gifts and was extremely pampered. Clayton is set to go with new clothes, diapers, baby necessities, a beautiful smocked Easter outfit with booties, a precious hat and a monogrammed blanket made by my mom, a new video monitor from my mother-in-law, a new diaper bag, and monogrammed burp cloths, blanket and clothes.

Here are a few pictures of the shower. Please excuse how HUGE I am. I wish I could just gain weight in my belly, but I really gain it all over!

Valentine's Week

Our sweet Valentine's

Caleb and Kathryn had a fun week celebrating Valentine's Day last week. They both had big parties at school and came home with lots of candy and sweet valentines!

Caleb's party was on Tuesday of last week and I was one of the helpers for his party. He loved having me there to show me eveything about his classroom. He made a cute little heart door ornament, ate some yummy treats and played a match the heart's valentine's game. My camera wasn't taking very good picture that day, so I don't have many pictures of him!

Here he is listening to the Valentines book.

Here he is searching for matching hearts in a game. Notice the tie that he has on from the dress up box in his classroom - this child LOVES to dress up like either Daddy or Clark Kent. He wears a tie most of the time in his classroom! He loves to pretend and has such a great imagination :)

Kathryn's party was on Thursday and although I didn't help with the party, I was invited to attend. I'm telling you, this was a big party for 2 year olds! She got so many Valentine cards and candy, that I had to add some of hers to Caleb's bag so he wouldn't be upset. Shhhh- don't tell!

Here she is eating some chocolate hearts - her favorite!

She made a special necklace filled with even more candy

Then she delivered her valentines that she brought to all of her friend's bags.

Here she is showing me her "clementine" bag filled to the top with candy and treats. Don't you love the fake smile and "cheese"? She is good at that these days :)
When we got home Caleb dug in to his bag of goodies. He loves candy and would eat it all day if he could. Kathryn on the other hand wanted only her valentine cards, no candy. It is so funny how different they are! She still has not eaten any candy out of her bag. When Caleb finds out, it will soon be all gone! She just loves to put all sorts of things in her new valentine bag that she made. She calls it her "Clementine" bag. (they both love the little clementine oranges)
