Notice all the stars on his shirt? He is rewarded with a star each week at practice when he memorizes a new verse. He loves a challenge and we are thrilled that he has memorized so many verses.

Caleb was out of school on Monday and it was an absolutely beautiful day. We decided to take advantage of the weather and head out to the Greenville Zoo. We haven't been yet since we have lived in Greenville, but we will be going a lot more. It is such a great little zoo, the kids love it, and it is so close to our house! We picked up Mimi on the way and enjoyed a fun morning seeing all the animals. We packed a picnic lunch and ate right across from the giraffe's!
Caleb and Kathryn were fascinated by this black monkey you can't see very well. He swung from the ropes for a while and then came to the side and kept putting his long arm and hand through the gate. It was like he was trying to shake their hands. They loved it and have talked about it over and over since then!
Clayton was a trooper since he missed his morning nap. He tried to stay awake and see everything, but he finally gave up after lunch!
