Happy Birthday Clayton!
It is so hard to believe that Clayton turned 2 this past Sunday! On Saturday we had a fun family party for him to celebrate. Both sets of Clayton's grandparents came as well as his Great Grandfather, his Uncle Greg, Aunt Amanda, Aunt, Anna and cousins Roane and Flynn. Clayton LOVES Elmo and Cookie Monster, so we had no choice other then have them be the theme of his party!
Clayton loved his birthday cake and he was very interested in seeing me make it, more so than Caleb and Kathryn have ever been. He watched me decorate some of it and the first thing he wanted to see when he woke up on Saturday morning was his Cookie Monster Elmo cake! Here he is waiting for us to sing Happy Birthday.

After tiring of the cake, he went on to his Cookie Moster chocolate lollipop.
He loved us singing Happy Birthday to him and he kept wanting us to sing it to him again. It was so sweet. We ended up singing it 2 more times! I think he enjoyed being the center of attention!

On to opening birthday presents:
Clayton has been such a blessing in all of our lives over the past 2 years. He is so loving, cuddly, sweet and funny. His brother and sister still think he hung the moon and would do anything for him! Clayton makes us laugh constantly even though he always keeps us on our toes. Whether he is raiding the pantry, climbing on the table or counters, coloring on the walls and pillows, dumping out his snacks or destroying Caleb and Kathryn's crafts, we sure LOVE that boy and we woudn't want it any other way! We love to hear him sing "that's Elmo's world" to the top of his lungs, give big bear hugs around our necks, give sweet Eskimo kisses, and make big belly laughs. He really warms our hearts and we can't get enough of him!!! We are so thankful that the Lord put him into our family!
