Pumpkin Patch!

We ventured out in the cold weather this afternoon to get a new pumpkin. Russ is already planning the design he is going to carve into the pumpkin (stay tuned), so he had to find the perfect one. The kids enjoyed picking the pumpkin and picking the flowers from the mums.

I'm also including a few pictures from last weekend since it's been so long since I've updated our blog. My parents took Caleb and Kathryn last weekend so that Russ and I could have some much needed time to work on our house. We are slowly in the process of getting it ready for the new baby, so we worked hard at uncluttering and redecorating. Of course that is nearly impossible to do with 2 children needing our constant attention! They had a great time with their Mimi and Grampy and the highlight of the weekend was the new children's museam in Greenville. We had heard that it was really neat with 3 stories of hand's on exhibits just right for Caleb and Kathryn's size. They had a blast and played for 3 hours straight without a break for a snack, juice or even the potty! We will definitely be going back so I can see this neat museam too!

Here they are with Grampy in a cool race car.

Choosing some desserts at the pretend bakery.
Moving some rocks at the construction site.
Here is Caleb ( in the middle of the picture) climbing up big stairs so that he can come down the 2 story slide. This was his favorite part of the day!
