We celebrated Clayton's 1st Birthday this past Saturday afternoon. We kept it small, with just our close family with Nana and Papa, Mimi and Grampy and Pop. We had a great time! Clayton was excited that everyone was together and it was fun watching him be the center of everyone's attention!

The kids were so excited for Clayton to open his presents, they ended up opening all of them for him!
Don't tell Clayton, but some of his gifts were recycled gifts that Caleb and Kathryn got a couple of years ago :) He did get a new gift from Mimi and Grampy and from Nana and Papa, so that was plenty!

Here is Clayton with my Pop who is almost 91! We were excited that he came to the party too!
This was the best family picture we could get. Clayton was exhausted by this point and ready for a nap. He wouldn't smile for anything!
We all decided that we would just go ahead and cry with him! He was ready for the party to be over!

I cannot believe Clayton is ONE! Happy birthday sweet Clayton!!! Also, that cake is beautiful. . . sure wish I had a piece of it here in Charlotte. :)
Okay, I'm LOL at the recycled birthday gifts!!!! It stinks being the youngest....but I'm sure we'll be doign the same thing for Charlotte's first birthday:)
Love the cake...your cakes are always so beautiful. The picture of Clayton eating it is hilarious, too! I still can't get over the fact that he's one!
