Dr. Caleb and Puffs

At Wee School today, Caleb learned all about being a doctor. He made his own Dr.'s bag and hat and he was so proud of it. He couldn't remember the stethescope or the q-tips, but he was excited to show us the cotton ball, the medicine and as he called it, the "Ahhh" (the stick the Dr. puts on your tongue to look at your throat). He seems to be our own Doogie Howser. We just hope that Vinnie Delpino doesn't come knocking on our window!

Look in my Dr. bag!

It is hard to believe that Kathryn is 7 months old tomorrow. She is such a sweet girl and is still so content to do whatever it is that we want her too! She literally just goes with the flow everyday. If she misses her morning nap, she is still happy all morning and then just takes a long afternoon nap. She is so easy and we are so thankful! She is a very busy little girl though and she is constantly rolling, moving, grabbing her foot, reaching, etc. I think she is going to keep us very busy when she starts crawling! She is already rocking on both knees now, so I know it won't be much longer until she starts crawling. She started saying "Da-da" last week and now she says it all of the time. Russ worked and worked with her until she finally said it. He was so proud! Now we are working on saying "Ma-ma" :) She weighs around 16 pounds now and keeps getting bigger. She likes all of her babyfood so far, well all but the green beans. She was not a big fan of those, but I will try them again later! I decided it was time for her to start trying to drink from a cup and eat some puffs. At dinner tonight, we sat her in her high chair and gave her a new cup and some peach flavored puffs. She was captivated by the puffs and worked and worked until she got one in each hand. She was determined to get them and she was very good at it! She gets this funny look on her face when she concentrates and she puckers her lips together. It is too cute! She tried the puffs and did not like them. She cried and cried until I fished it out of her mouth. Oh well, I guess we will just try again tomorrow night :)

Working hard to pick them up!

I don't like this!!! Get it out of my mouth!

My new cup!

Caroline loves her dr's hat and bag, too! That was a cute craft. I love the look on Kathryn's face eating those puffs! It's so sad that she's at the age to eat those things now:(

The "Ahhh" is hilarious! I cannot believe Kathryn is as old as Austin was when we were at your house last! She is too cute eating her big girl food and using her big girl cup! Love you all!
