Valentine's Week

Our sweet Valentine's

Caleb and Kathryn had a fun week celebrating Valentine's Day last week. They both had big parties at school and came home with lots of candy and sweet valentines!

Caleb's party was on Tuesday of last week and I was one of the helpers for his party. He loved having me there to show me eveything about his classroom. He made a cute little heart door ornament, ate some yummy treats and played a match the heart's valentine's game. My camera wasn't taking very good picture that day, so I don't have many pictures of him!

Here he is listening to the Valentines book.

Here he is searching for matching hearts in a game. Notice the tie that he has on from the dress up box in his classroom - this child LOVES to dress up like either Daddy or Clark Kent. He wears a tie most of the time in his classroom! He loves to pretend and has such a great imagination :)

Kathryn's party was on Thursday and although I didn't help with the party, I was invited to attend. I'm telling you, this was a big party for 2 year olds! She got so many Valentine cards and candy, that I had to add some of hers to Caleb's bag so he wouldn't be upset. Shhhh- don't tell!

Here she is eating some chocolate hearts - her favorite!

She made a special necklace filled with even more candy

Then she delivered her valentines that she brought to all of her friend's bags.

Here she is showing me her "clementine" bag filled to the top with candy and treats. Don't you love the fake smile and "cheese"? She is good at that these days :)
When we got home Caleb dug in to his bag of goodies. He loves candy and would eat it all day if he could. Kathryn on the other hand wanted only her valentine cards, no candy. It is so funny how different they are! She still has not eaten any candy out of her bag. When Caleb finds out, it will soon be all gone! She just loves to put all sorts of things in her new valentine bag that she made. She calls it her "Clementine" bag. (they both love the little clementine oranges)
