Catching Up with Old Friends

This past weekend we headed to Alpharetta, GA to visit the Pussers, some old friends of ours. It has been over 3 years since we have seen them last, so this visit was long overdue! They so graciously opened up their home to all of us and we had so much fun. The last time we saw them we each only had 2 kids, now we've each had another baby so it was fun for them to meet Clayton and us to meet their sweet new baby girl, Lyla.

On Saturday we went to a Fall Festival in the downtown area of Alpharetta. It was a beautiful fall day so we enjoyed walking around and eating lunch outside. The kids got there faces painted for the first time so they were so excited!

Here is sweet Clayton waiting for the big kids to get out of the jump house

Kathryn decided she wanted her face painted with tiger stripes

Caleb was determined to have his face painted like a shark's mouth. The highschool girls that were doing the painting hadn't done a shark face before, but they gave it a try!

Here are the kids with a scarecrow on stilts!

And here they are with thier big sticks of cotton candy. Lots and lots of sugar!

After the fall festival, we headed over to a fun play place that had a big indoor playground as well as lots of jump houses. The kids had a blast and they played and played. This was Clayton's first time being old enough to be able to participate in all the bigger kid things. He and Daddy were buddies and he absolutely loved it!

He loved this light up dance floor in the middle of the place. We often found him dancing away to the music!

We all had an awesome time and we thank the Pusser's for having us!

A shark's mouth???!! You had me laughing when that picture came up. And his face looks SO proud!! What a fun Fall weekend! I love weekends like that with fun activities planned.

I remember that outfit on Clayton...it was Caleb's right? Cute!
