Happy Birthday Caleb!

Happy 7th Birthday Caleb!

Wow, it is really hard to believe that we have a 7 year old in our house now!  Caleb really is such a joy and blessing in our lives and we are so thankful for him.  We celebrated the first part of his birthday yesterday when Russ' parents came into town.  Nana and Papa took Caleb on his first ever shopping spree to Toys R Us.  Caleb was so excited to go, he could hardly stand it!  He loved getting to pick out his presents and he did a really good job with it!  He had a certain amount he could spend and he did his best making the right decisions.  He ended up with Star Wars figurines, battleships and an Air Hog remote control helicopter.  He was thrilled!

After the shopping spree we headed over for some fun at Frankie's Fun Park.  We ate at Johnny Rockets, one of Caleb's favorite restaraunts.

Tough Boys

Clayton felt like such a big boy getting little sips of cherry coke :)

After dinner, we went out to ride the go carts:

This morning, Caleb woke up to birthday doughnuts, complete with 7 candles!

He was excited to open some more presents from our family!

Then we went outside for him to see his new bike!  He could hardly even believe it!

He had a great time celebrating his birthday over the past 2 days. Mimi and Grampy even came over this evening to celebrate with him some more!   However, there is more to come!  In 3 weeks he is having his birthday party where we are having  the "Critter Keeper" come to our house with lots of crazy critters including a python, iguana and lots of other creatures!  Stay tuned for those pics in a few weeks!

Finally, I had to include this sweet video of Clayton.  The kids were playing American Idol last night where they sing and we tell them if they are going to Hollywood or not.  The funny thing is, Clayton kept wanting us to play it some more this morning.  However, instead of Hollywood he would yell "Hobby Lobby" after he would sing his song!

Here is sweet Clayton singing Jesus Loves Me.
