Caleb Comes to the Hospital to Meet His New Sister!

Caleb came to the hospital on Tuesday evening to meet baby Kathryn. He was very excited to see her and we had tried to prepare him very well for her arrival. One of the first things that he said was "baby Kathryn came out of Mommy's tummy!" He loved looking at her and he did touch her a little, but he was also very distracted with everyone else there. Kathryn gave him a new Thomas the Train for him to play with, so he was very happy with her! He would play around the room and then get interested in the baby for a minute or so and then back to playing. I guess that is typical for a 2 year old. His Nana had given him a shirt that says "I'm the Big Brother" so he was dressed for the occasion and looked so cute. Russ made a balloon for him from one of the hospital gloves and he was very content playing with that and his Thomas. He did kiss Kathryn before he left and we were very proud of him for doing so well. Everyone had told me that when you have a new baby, your toddler all of a sudden looks so big. That is so true ~ especially all of his features. He is such a big boy to us now! Check out the pictures below of the visit.
