It's Ready!

Well, we finally put all of the finishing touches on Kathryn's nursery, so it is just waiting on her now! My mom made the all of the crib bedding and the curtains and it is absolutely perfect. She is so good at what she does and I am very thankful that I have her to do it for me ~ thanks mom! It is certainly all girl. In fact the only thing that wasn't changed from Caleb's nursery was the furniture, the glider and the blue sky on the ceiling. I must admit, it was very hard taking all of Caleb's nursery down and putting it away because I loved it so much. It was expecially hard painting over the murals (I'm sorry Janelle - they were perfect!) and the stripes that I had worked so hard on 2 years ago. I had thought about keeping some of the blue mural up on the wall, but then I decided that this may be the only time that I can do lots of pink. The chances of us having another girl are very small, so why not go all out! I hope that Kathryn likes it. I even put the baby carriage in it that I got when I was 4 years old and it was one of my favorite toys. Maybe it will be one of hers too! It is a good feeling to finally have it all done because I really feel ready for her to come. Now I just have to go finish packing my hospital bag...
