Yeah, the Park!

Caleb woke up from his nap this afternoon and suggested that we go to the park. He had been thinking and thinking of what he wanted to do. This is the first time that he has suggested this on his own. I couldn't turn him down because he was so excited. We haven't been in a very long time, so with the weather being so nice today, I couldn't say no! We waited for Kathryn to wake up from her nap and then we headed out to Davie Park. It was very crowded, being that it was 70 degrees outside and 4:00 in the afternoon, but Caleb had a blast! It is amazing how much Caleb has grown since we have been there last. This was the first time that Caleb was very independent and for 45 minutes he just went up and down all of the sliding boards! Kathryn and I just sat back and watched!













Kathryn is such a sweet baby girl and she just loves to watch Caleb. Today was the first time that I let her sit in the stroller and not ride in her carseat. She LOVED it and just watched everyone play. She never even let out a peep and she looked so big sitting up straight in the stroller!






I had to MAKE Caleb get in the car to go home. He really did not want too! I told him that if he didn't get in the car, then we might not be able to come back to the park. Of course, after thinking about it for a minute, he obeyed! Unfortunately, we have to miss a play group at the park tomorrow morning, but we will definitely be back there again soon!
